- Lessons: 20 general French morning lessons + 10 private diplomatic French afternoon lessons per week
- Levels: elementary to advanced, equivalent at least to level A2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference (see levels)

to Friday +
1.5 hours private lessons every afternoon from 14.00 - Duration: minimum 1 week with no time limit

Target profile: The programme is suitable for students interested in a career in diplomacy or for professionals who already work in this field (ambassadors, officials from international organisations, etc.) or foreign nationals intending to study in this field (political science, higher education in international relations, etc.)
The course can be tailored according to the student’s level, requirements and specific sphere of interest:
- study the French language in diplomatic contexts to learn the style of language used in documents pertaining to international relations (resolutions, minutes of hearings, correspondence, etc.), develop vocabulary and master a more formal terminolgy.
- observe diplomatic communications to learn the characteristics of “diplomatic language”, to identify what is implied, double-meanings, understatements, irony and euphemism and other rhetorical figures of speech. Learn to speak in public in a formal situation: conferences, meetings, lunches and cocktails.
- study articles and reports on Europe, French-speaking communities and the world with a view to discussing topical subjects from a cross-cultural perspective.
