FRANCAIS ET GOLF

BLS BIARRITZ
  • Lessons: 20 general French morning lessons + 10 golf lessons per week
  • Levels: beginner to advanced (see levels)
  • Course begins: every Monday except for beginners (see dates)
  • Timetable: 9.30 to 12.45 with a 15 minute break, Monday to Friday + 2 hour golf lesson every afternnon at 14h00, Monday to Friday
  • Duration: minimum 2 weeks with no time limit

Golf lessons

  • Personal training programme tailored to your level and objectives
  • Video analysis of movements, swing, short and long game, accompanied on the course
  • These lessons give you free access to the practice course. Classes are delivered by our partner European Golf- Biarritz
  • Single-level groups: 2 to 4 participants maximum per qualified teacher
  • Location: between Biarritz and Bidart, the Ilbarritz Golf club is a 9-hole course with an exceptional view over the ocean and mountains
  • Equipment: clubs supplied by the school
  • Transport: on the first day, a teacher collects you from BLS and takes you to the golf course. On other days you make your own way to the golf club (20-30 minutes by bus)

General French - objectives and methodology

  • the practice of spoken French in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language
  • development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication)
  • communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.)

Groups

  • single-level groups, 8 to 14* students maximum, ensure easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher
    *Occasionally, this number may be exceeded by 1 or 2 due to an unforeseen student placement
