FRENCH AND THALASSOTHERAPY

BLS BIARRITZ
  • Lessons: 20 general French morning lessons
    + 6 afternoon Thalassotherapy treatments over 3 afternoons per week
  • Levels: beginner to advanced (see levels)
  • Course begins: every Monday except for beginners (see dates)
  • Timetable: 9.30 to 12.45 with a 15 minute break, Monday to Friday
  • Duration: minimum 1 week with no time limit

Thalassotherapy Sessions

  • In collaboration with the international Accor Group Thalassa Biarritz, BLS offers you the very best of thalassotherapy - embracing the powers of seawater to rejuvinate both mind and spirit.

    • 2 treatments per half day session (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) pre-arranged from the choice of group pool treatments (underwater jets, relaxation lagoon) and individual hydrotherapy (multi-jet baths, shower jets, back hydro-massage, hydrojets, pressotherapy, affusion, seawater showers, seaweed wrap)..

  • 1 meal per week (lunch or dinner) at the Sofitel Miramar restaurant. 3 course meal, mineral water 1/3 wine and coffee
  • Location : Thalassotherapy centre located in the heart of Biarritz on the seafront
  • Equipment : A pair of sandals and swimming trunks are required. Dressing gown, towel and swimming cap are supplied.
  • Transport : Our receptionist will give you directions by bus or on foot (20 mn by bus)

General French - objectives and methodology

  • the practice of spoken French in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language
  • development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication)
  • communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.)

Groups

  • single-level groups, 8 to 14* students maximum, ensure easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher
    *Occasionally, this number may be exceeded by 1 or 2 due to an unforeseen student placement
