    + 6 cultural activities + 2 evenings out + 1 full day excursion

General French - course objectives and methodology

  • the practice of spoken French in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language
  • development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication)
  • communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.)

Groups

  • single-level groups, 8 to 14 students maximum, ensure easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher

Activities

Each week in Biarritz: 3 afternoon cultural activities + 1 evening + 1 full day excursion at the end of the first week

The activities proposed offer an excellent opportunity to get to know the region from a cultural point of view, to appreciate the natural environment, the region’s architecture and gastronomy. These activities will help you to develop your linguistic skills practically whilst enjoying the friendly company of the other participants.

  • Examples of activities: - guided tour of characteristic towns and villages - tasting local produce (chocolates, Bayonne ham) - visits to museums and chateaux - walking in the Pyrénees - game of traditional pelote Basque - evening in a restaurant specialising in Basque cuisine
